As many of you know (or maybe you dont?)

Ellie is one of my best friends and so I have tried out her foundations and
 want to give you my review of them!

I liked the Sands and Luna the best, and I liked the Luna best and the Sands second. I did try the Mists but it was the wrong colour, so it didn't get a fair review. Ellie is sending me more so I will re-review that later.
Luna had moderate coverage and did not seem too heavy to me. Where as the Sands seemed like much heavier coverage to me. BOTH lasted really well all day long, which was a PLUS in my book! That is the first thing I look for in a foundation.
I'll tel you a little story about Luna.. I had put it on that night and asked hubby how my skin looked and he said it looks really good, what skincare products are you using atm? And I said I'm wearing Ellie's foundation! LOL

The only thing is I tend to like matte foundations, but if you a foundation that gives you a glow from the inside, then this will be right up your alley!

Ellie is making me a match just perfect for my skintone and when she does she is going to name it after me. I'm really excited about that, I must admit :)

Stay the Day Moisturizer (aka Moisturizing Primer)

(PLEASE NOTE: we have a limited number of these ones available since we are reformulating this. So this is all we have left of this at a very special sale price!)

This moisturizer was developed because every time in the past I ever used a moisturizer it would cause my makeup to separate later on in the day.

Granted everyone's mileage may very but this is highly antioxidant (antioxidants are GREAT for daytime to help prevent sun damage) and is great for keeping your makeup put. It is like a primer/moisturizer in one!

Just wanted to give an update!
We are SOO overwhelmed by orders at the moment (due to fabulous blog postings by some of my wonderful customers, THANK YOU!) that we need to close for a bit to get caught up.Actually my original goal was only to open for a few weeks then reclose again to spend time with my daughter, but I am trying to find a healthy medium of spending time with my kids and also being able to continue my passion.
Anyway.. We are also going to reorganise things a bit so that things will flow better when orders do come in. Like making my most popular items ahead of time :D

Sorry for not giving any advance notice, but the orders are coming in so fast, that if I did not close now, it would take me even longer to reopen.

Thank you so much for your understanding! The only other option was to close again for a long period of time, and I do not want to do this, nor do I think any of you want to see this.

So for the time being the shopping cart is disabled and we are not taking any orders. Our goal is to get caught up and get our most popular items made up and ready to go.

I just have to say we are so blessed by some of the most amazing customers one could ever ask for. Thank you Thank you all, for your friendship and appreciation!

No its not a computer program :D
It's the newest creation coming from us here at Camellia Rose :)
Some gals mentioned they were sensitive to squalane and/or red raspberry so we fiddled with a new version, and here it is!

We took out the squalane and red raspberry which some gals are sensitive to and have added two oils that rarely cause reactions at all, Camellia Oil and Rice Bran Oil! We have kept watermelon seed oil, because it is so great for the skin and also rarely causes a reaction. You could say this is the sensitive version!

It works perfectly as a base under your mineral makeup. You only need a small amount to cover your entire face.

Okay, I am doing my very best to open today, if not it will be very soon as I have mentioned in the previous blog comments section. I'm going to start listing more of the items I will be selling today. Truly sorry I did not get the store open before this but things have been so very hectic. I handmade gifts as usual! And I still actually have a few gifts left to make! And let me tell you, chasing 3 kids under 4 years old every day does not leave for much time for formulating! lol!
But as luck would have it, hubby is home this week :) So that will free me up for formulating and doing orders :) Yay!
Anyway soon soon :)

for a brief time..

Hey Ladies :)

Just in time for Christmas I will be opening again with limited stock of items.
First I have to wait for my brush order to come in, it has already been shipped but by Fed EX so should be a week or so.

I will have vegan brush sets (been waiting for a while for these and my supplier finally got them in!!) and other vegan brushes you all will love :)
Most of the brushes will be at a special price for the holidays.

Also will have my primer back :) I may also have the silicone free version I have been working on for many months that many of you have already tried.

There will also be a free gift with purchase (if order is over $50) which should be really exciting too!

Hey Everyone :)
Well we had our baby girl on September 12th, by cesarean section. Most of you already know this from other boards but I'm sure some of you do not.

We are just really enjoying our time with her, and I am still healing, although getting better every day.

My plan at this point is to come back with the business later this year or early next. I want to spend as much time when she is a lil baby as I possibly can with her before I go full on with the biz again.

But rest assured I am researching the greatest and latest innovative and awesome ingredients to bring new skincare to you!

In the mean time I will probably be sending my most popular products to my friend Markey at Garden of Wisdom to sell for me. Just not sure exactly when that will happen.

Please be patient, know I love you all, and I know especially those gals that loved the primer and green tea shea soap are probably really itching at this point for me to come back, but I hope you will also understand the call of motherhood :)
